It takes place over the course of many years, continuing with after-school and summer programs for all of our immersion
alumni.
Will my child have a hard time when introduced to a school program taught in English?
No.
Studies show that exposure to a second language at an early age, enhances the part of the brain that processes language.
Therefore, your child will be able to understand the intricate nuances of lanuage more quickly than non-bilingual students.
What if we do not speak any Spanish in the home?
Immersion programs are
designed for English-only or non-Spanish speaking households. Only a parent's enthusiasm and support is imperative
for the child's success.
