An important part of La Escuelita is the community development outside of the classroom. We often participate in or host educational and cultural activities throughout the year.

Our first 'book group' will begin in January and we will be reading 'NurtureShock' by Po Bronson and Ashley Merryman. More details coming soon...


 

We work hard to co-sponsor and support other local and some national organizations in an effort to share the Spanish language, music and culture with Pittsburgh families.

Escuelita offers a variety of services at various local community events and schools.  The 'Escuelita Troupe' offers age appropriate Spanish Language and bilingual interactive puppet shows.  We also offer a variety of hands-on Latin American crafts for Festival participants.
